Glacier National Park Paintings

Had a wonderful hiking trip to Glacier National Park in September.
Our first day we experienced the first snow of the season and then it warmed to upper 70's during the day and 50's at night with big beautiful blue skies for the remainder of our stay.
I have had time to do two paintings so far, but I have a treasure of photos and memories to last for a lifetime of painting.

We hiked to this location and had lunch along the shore.

Would not have had this next scene to paint if we had not had to stop for a 30 minute road construction delay!

Grand Festival of Art October 8-9

The Grand Fest is coming up and I have been working hard to get ready.
I have been working on still life, street scenes, restaurant scenes and landscapes!
Here is one from a recent long weekend in New Orleans.
